How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Hose for a Gas Engine for Pressure Hose on 2009 Dodge Caliber?

Before servicing or fixing a gas engine's power steering line/hose, first try to remove as much power steering fluid from the reservoir as possible. Afterward, remove the cover that holds the engine appearance and pull the pressure hose free from the pump pressure port. After that, undo the bolt on the routing bracket at the upper mount and also remove the bolt securing the routing clamp to the exhaust manifold. Lift and help keep the vehicle stable, then pull out the return hose and remove the return tube at the steering gear. Take the power steering hose off as well as the fasteners supporting the hose routing clamps attached to the crossmember. Remember to remove the pressure hose from the power steering system before you sell the car.
