2010 Dodge Caliber Power Steering Reservoir Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install a Power Steering Reservoir for a Gas Engine on 2010 Dodge Caliber?
A: For a gas engine, first cover the reservoir neck with the plastic shield. After that, join the reservoir (5) to the strut tower bracket (2) by driving in the mounting screw (1) so that it rotates 12 times and reaches 12 Nm (106 in. lbs.). Slide the supply hose (4) onto the reservoir fitting, tighten the hose clamp and push it over the hose so it is past the bead formed into the fitting. Carry out this procedure for the second side, checking that the clamp has tightened past the bead in the cooler return hose. Once done, add the coolant recovery bottle and purge and fill the power steering with the bleeding procedure. Remember to look for leaks and to install the engine appearance cover as well.
