  A: Before servicing the power steering pump, empty the power steering fluid reservoir as much as possible and then take off the engine cowl. For standard engines, eliminate the pressure hose guide bolt toward the upper mount and take out the pressure hose from the pump pressure port. With a turbo engine, you should disconnect the pressure hose from the port where the pump pressure is found. Following that, disconnect the end of the supply hose from the pump after releasing its hose clamp. Then, take out the drive belt from the system. Lastly, remove the three bolts holding the pump to the mount and withdraw the whole unit.
