How to Service and Repair a Rear Wiper Motor on 2009 Dodge Caliber?

Service of the rear wiper motor should start by first disconnecting and isolating the negative cable on the battery. After that, take off the rear wiper arm from its connection to the rear wiper motor shaft. After that, remove the trim layer from the inside of the liftgate. Cut the wire connecting the liftgate wire harness to the rear wiper motor. Take out the three screws holding the motor mounting bracket onto the liftgate inner panel U-nuts. Advance the wiper motor toward the front until it parts from the rubber grommet in the glass and afterward remove the motor from the rear door. Last, take out and throw away the rubber grommet from the output shaft hole in the glass of the liftgate.
