How to Safely Install a Headlight Switch with Proper Connections on 2009 Dodge Dakota?

Before beginning, you need to shut off the SRS, so disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable and let the system capacitor discharge for two minutes. Move the headlamp switch to sit on the back of the bezel. Use three 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) screws to hold the headlamp switch in place on the cluster bezel. Fit the cluster bezel against the instrument panel so that the wire harness connector is tight against the headlamp switch. Next, replace the cluster bezel onto the dashboard and rehook the battery negative cable.
