How to Service and Repair an A/C Expansion Valve on 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan?

It is necessary to withdraw the refrigerant from the whole system before beginning expansion valve service and repair. After that, release the nut that holds the A/C suction line and the A/C liquid line to the A/C expansion valve. Cut both lines from the A/C expansion valve and discard the seals. After that, take out the two bolts holding the A/C expansion valve to the A/C evaporator and discard the seals attached to the valve. The last step is to install plugs in or tape over the ports of the refrigerant line fittings and the evaporator and expansion valve.
