How to Detach a Steering Wheel on 2009 Dodge Nitro?

Disable and remove the driver's side air bag per the system's procedures. Loosen the steering wheel bolt partially, leaving it in the column. Fit a L-4407A puller with OTC 7929A jaws (or equivalent), seating the jaws in the steering wheel armature pockets, then extract the steering wheel.
