How to Install a Ball Joint in the Front Suspension Upper Assembly on 2009 Dodge Ram 3500?

Apply lots of thick lubrication to the threaded areas of the tool before inserting it to help it last and function correctly during the repair process. Use special tools C-4212F (press), R9652 (Driver) and 8445-1 (Receiver) to place the installed ball joint (3) in the upper control arm (4). Following that, place the upper ball joint into the knuckle and hold it securely with the retaining nut, tightening to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.). Then, link the wire of the wheel speed sensor to the knuckle, fit the tire and wheel, unplug the supports and bring the car down. Complete your service by performing a wheel alignment.
