The first step is to take out the windshield wiper/washer switch and move it to the new multifunction switch. Installing the two screws for the multifunction switch comes next; tighten these screws to 3 Nm (27 in. lbs.). Link both posi-lock headers at the back of the multi-function switch together. Following that, put in both the upper and lower steering column shrouds. After the battery negative cable is secure, fasten the battery access cover into its place and secure it with four bolts. After that, close the top of the trash can.
