How to Install a New Oxygen Sensor on 2009 Jeep Commander?

Before installing a new oxygen sensor, check that the threads are not covered in any anti-seize material, because they are already treated by the factory. Install the O2S sensor first and tighten it to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). After that, plug in the O2S sensor's electrical connector. If you have four O2S sensors and are installing the right-upstream sensor, connect the electrical connector, lift the transmission and bolt the crossmember into the frame, tightening them to 68 Nm (50 ft. lbs.). Next, take out the safety stand or jack and lower the vehicle down.
