How to Service and Repair Wheel Bearings and Wheel Hubs on 2009 Jeep Commander?

Start by raising and supporting the vehicle, take off the wheel and tire assembly and make sure the caliper is not resting only on the hose while you work. After that, remove the disc brake caliper (1) and the brake caliper adaptor (1). After the o-ring is in the garbage (2), strip away the disc brake rotor (1). Take out the wheel speed sensor nut (2) before you remove the wheel speed sensor. Afterward, loosen and remove all three hub bearing mounting bolts from the back of the steering knuckle and take out hub bearing (3).
