  • Q: How to Install the A/C Switch for Temperature Control on 2009 Jeep Liberty?
    A: The A/C-heater control should be attached first to the back of the instrument panel center bezel. Secure the control with four screws, tighten them to a value of 1.2 Nm or 10 in. lbs. After that, put the center bezel onto the instrument panel and attach the wire harness connectors to the back of the A/C-heater control. Also, attach the wire harness connectors to the accessory switches, then put the center bezel in place. After that, reattach the negative battery cable. The system will automatically begin calibration of the A/C-heater actuator when the ignition is activated following installation or replacement of the automobile climate control. If an A/C-heater control is being installed from another car, a scan tool is needed to activate the Actuator Calibration automatically. Should the car require, activate the Actuator Calibration function using a scan tool.
