  A: First, install the A/C-heater control behind the instrument panel center bezel with four screws tightened to 1.2 Nm (10 in. lbs.). After that, secure the A/C-heater bezel in the middle and attach the wire harness connectors at the back of the control. After that, connect the wires to each accessory switch and place the center bezel. After securing the positive terminal, attach the negative cable back as well. The A/C-heater control will conduct the Actuator Calibration function on its own when the ignition is turned on for the first time following the installation of a new control or an original one. Should the A/C-heater control be used elsewhere before, a new car needs the Calibration performed manually using a scan tool. When required, go into the Actuator Calibration menu using the scan tool.
