How to Safely Remove a Windshield on 2009 Jeep Liberty?

Always go over the warnings and cautions before taking out the windshield. The first step is to take out the rear view mirror and next remove the wiper arms. After that, remove the hood seal. Make sure to use a C-4755 trim stick or a similar tool to split the cover assembly from the A-pillar. Take off the four push pins and the cowl grille from the body. Once more, with the trim stick C-4755 or its equivalent, pull out the push pin. Then, take loose the windshield A-pillar molding and the clips on the A-pillar. Cut through the urethane glue around the windshield with a sharp cold knife or, if you have one, a pneumatic cutting tool and finally, take the windshield out of the vehicle.
