2009 Jeep Wrangler A/C Hose Parts and Q&A
- Q: How to Service an A/C Hose on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?A: Make sure to unhook and separate the negative battery cable to work on the A/C liquid line. Take out the refrigerant from the system in the refrigeration equipment. Loosen the nut holding the A/C liquid line and A/C suction line to the A/C expansion valve. Detach the lines running from the expansion valve to the A/C liquid and suction lines and throw out the O-ring seals at the same time. You should carefully remove the standard bracket that holds the liquid A/C line against the suction hose if it is in the way. For vehicles with a 2.8L engine, disconnect the air intake hose from the throttle body and move it so it's not in the way. Open the nut at the attachment of the A/C liquid line to the A/C condenser part at the left front of the engine compartment. Detach the liquid line on the A/C from the condenser, remove the seal and gasket and throw them away. After that, secure plugs in or cover over all the suction and liquid line fittings, plus the standard ports on the condenser and expansion valve.
