How to Extract the Evaporator from an A/C System on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

To remove the A/C evaporator, disconnect the air bag system by disconnecting the negative battery cable and wait two minutes. Remove the HVAC housing, disconnect the air distribution housing and remove the A/C expansion valve. Replace any damaged foam seals, then remove the A/C evaporator and insulator.
