How to Service an Air Bag Control Module on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

To service the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC), turn off the Supplemental Restraint System by disconnecting the battery negative cable. Do not throw the ORC down to avoid damage. Remove the center console, disconnect wire harnesses from the ORC and then unfasten the four nuts to remove the module from its mount.
