How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Cut off and separate the battery negative cable to start handling the ambient temperature sensor. After that, remove the retaining nut from the radiator support (part number 3) which holds the ambient temperature sensor (part number 2), by taking it out through the hole in the grille's center. Disconnect the electrical wire that goes to the ambient air temperature sensor and afterwards, pull the sensor out of the vehicle.
