How to Service a Canister Purge Valve on 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Before servicing the Canister Purge Valve, take out the negative battery cable. Then, with the tab pressed, remove the valve by pulling it from the loom it is attached to. After that, remove and unhook the electrical connector from the purge valve. At this stage, you disconnect the 2 vacuum lines and lastly take out the valve.
