How to Install a Trunk Lid Latch Correctly on 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Put the latch onto the liftgate and mount the two retaining bolts, secure them with 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.) of torque. Put the linkage rods into the latch and install the retainer clips to make sure they are fully engaged. After that, join the liftgate wire harness connector to the latch and link back the negative battery cable. First, make sure the liftgate lock and latch are operating correctly and afterwards add on the liftgate trim panel.
