To service the multifunction switch, disable the SRS by disconnecting the battery negative cable and waiting two minutes. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds, unscrew the switch from the mounting bracket, slide it away, disconnect the jumper wire harness, and remove the switch from the Clock Spring.
