  A: Set the generator onto the 3.7L engine and secure it by adding three decorative bolts, then tighten both vertical bolts to 40 Nm and both horizontal bolts to 57 Nm. Fit the field wire connector to the back of the generator and insert the B+ terminal and nut onto a stud in the generator, tightening the nut to 13 Nm. Put the plastic protective cover over the B+ terminal. You should never push a belt over the pulley rim with a screwdriver, as this may damage the fibers in the belt. Route the belt right the first time, to make sure the water pump turns properly and does not make the engine overheat; use the label in the engine bay to help you. Replace the drive belt and ensure you follow all the instructions for routing, size adjustment and tightening the bolts. After that, join the negative battery cable to the battery.
