2010 Jeep Liberty Tie Rod End Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove and Replace a Tie Rod End for Inner on 2010 Jeep Liberty?
A: Make sure to turn the inner tie rod end the same amount of times when you replace it, so you remember what setting to use after installation. Ease off the nut that holds the outer tie rod end. Following this, unscrew the jam nut. After that, pull out the two clamps securing the inner tie rod boot. When that's done, free the boot from the tie rod. Once all is connected, use the 10087-6 Inner Tie Rod Socket and the 10087-2 Inner Tie Rod Adapter Wrench to take out the inner tie rod end.
