2010 Jeep Liberty Wiper Motor Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove a Wiper Motor on 2010 Jeep Liberty?
A: Before removing the wiper motor, you should disconnect and cut off the battery's ground cable. Then, get rid of the rear wiper arm from the motor's output shaft. There is no need to take out the bezel or grommet from the output shaft. After that, take the trim panel off the inside of the liftgate. Take the wire harness connector out of the rear wiper motor, unbolt the three screws holding the motor mounting bracket to the panel of the liftgate and remove the screws. Afterward, take the motor from the liftgate and get rid of the bezel and rubber grommet from the outer liftgate panel's hole where the output shaft is located, taking care not to harm the panel's paint.
