For gasoline engines, access the tray behind the washer reservoir, insert the new rubber grommet seal/filter screen unit into the washer pump hole in the reservoir and remember to put in a new seal/filter every time. Fit the inlet nipple of the washer pump into the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the reservoir and push down energetically and evenly on the washer pump/motor unit until the nipple is completely seated. After that, push down on the washer pump/motor unit above the reservoir so the top of the motor housing snaps into place on the reservoir's receptacle. If you have a rear washer, reattach it to the pump outlet nipple first, then attach the front washer to the same point. Secure the washer pump/motor unit wire harness connector into the receptacle on top of the motor housing and after that, attach the negative battery cable. Make sure to add the washer fluid you removed from the reservoir back into the reservoir once you are done.
