Put a new rubber grommet seal/filter unit into the washer pump mounting hole in the reservoir of the component tray. A fresh rubber grommet seal/filter screen should be used in each installation of this pipe unit. Pull back on the rubber grommet seal/filter screen inside the reservoir to expose the bottom part of the tank, then put the pump's inlet pipe into the grommet and firmly push down on the pump until it is flush with the grommet. After that, place the top of the washer pump/motor unit over the reservoir to snap the post on the motor housing into place. Should the vehicle be equipped with a rear washer, reattach the rear washer hose to the group's pump outlet and attach the front washer hose to the same area. After that, attach the wire harness from the engine compartment to the top of the washer pump/motor unit and reconnect the negative battery terminal. Last, return the washer liquid from your empty container into the reservoir.

Carefully add the fluid you drained into the washer reservoir and then put back the negative terminal of the battery.
