How to Remove and Repair a Rear Door Handle on Chrysler 300?

Start by plucking the trim panel from inside the rear door to access the rear door exterior handle for servicing. After that, remove the watershield from the back door's interior panel. Next, pull out the glass channel and bracket from the door's exterior and then remove the latch inside the same door. After the previous steps, remove the three internal screws holding the handle to the door and disconnect the handle from the door's outside face.

How to Install a Rear Exterior Door Handle on Chrysler 300?

For the rear exterior door handle, line up the handle with the holes that are already on the door's outside. Turn the handle interior so the small screws on the inside can be installed and tightened to about 5 Nm (44 in. lbs.). After that, place the latch inside the rear door. Then, secure the door glass channel and bracket to the inside back door. After that, reposition the watershield inside the door that closes at the back. The trim panel should be reinstalled on the inside of the rear door at the end.
