    Before touching the blower motor resistor, you should revoke air bag service by disconnecting and isolating the battery negative cable and then giving the capstrip two minutes to go dead. Open the hood and take off the negative Battery Cable remote terminal from the remote battery post. Take out the lower right underpanel silencer/duct and pull off the wiring connector from the blower motor resistor.
