How to Remove and Install Car Mirrors on Chrysler Cirrus?

To remove the interior mirror, use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the set screw and slide the mirror up off the button bonded to the windshield. For installation, reverse the removal process. For the exterior mirror, start by removing the door trim panel, then take out the two screws securing the mirror bezel and detach it from the door. If the vehicle has standard mirrors, loosen the set screw holding the mirror adjuster cable to the bezel and separate them. For power mirrors, detach the electrical connector from its mounting on the door. Next, pry off the caps from the mirror nut access holes and remove the three nuts to detach the mirror from the door. Installation is the reverse of the removal process.

If the wiring harness cannot be pulled up far enough, the door panel will need to be removed for access. Next, remove the three nuts securing the mirror bezel and take it off the door. Installation is the reverse of removal.
