How to Remove and Install a Fuel Pressure Regulator from the Fuel Pump Module on Chrysler Town & Country?

The fuel pressure regulator inside the fuel pump module has to be removed from the fuel tank to be reached. First, spread the ends of the tangs on the pressure regulator retainer and lift the regulator with a tool out of the housing, so that the two O-rings on top and below the regulator are also removed. Lightly coat each O-ring with clean oil before putting them into the hole in the pump module. Afterward, fit the regulator through the opening and put the strap over the housing's tabs.

How to Maintain a Fuel Pressure Regulator on Chrysler Sebring?

Before servicing the fuel pressure regulator, be sure the fuel system pressure is relieved, because it is continuously placed under pressure even when the engine is turned off. Both the fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump are found on top of the fuel pump module and there is no need to remove the module.
