First, push the lower end of the housing and its grommet across into the cockpit from the engine bay, making sure the grommet seats well. Following that, insert the cable housing into the bracket attached to the engine where it connects to the throttle body. Bring the vehicle into gear; twist the throttle cable and push the cable retainer onto the end of the pedal shaft where it is needed. While at the dash panel, clip the end of the throttle cable onto the retainer clip placed between the fitting and the grommet. Now, in the engine section, pull the throttle lever all the way up and attach the throttle cable.

In a 4 cylinder engine, connect one of the throttle cable routing clips to the fuel rail bracket, then put the other clip on the shocktower. Inside the vehicle, press the pedal up and attach the retainer and cable for the throttle at the pedal's highest point. Between the throttle cable dash fitting and the grommet, slide the cable retainer clip into place at the dash panel. Finish up by opening the throttle lever wide open and mounting the throttle cable from the engine compartment.
