Chrysler Heater Control Valve controls the flow of coolant to ensure cabins are warm as drivers concentrate on the road. Chrysler instilled confidence with Floating Power that reduced engine vibration, with daring bodies such as the Airflow, with prices that allowed families to shop without haggling, with massive minivans that could carry kids and baggage just as easily, with cabin refinements that made trips to the car care-free, with strong steering in the hands of the driver, with quiet rides in the hands of the passenger, and with daring styling over decades of evolution that matched bold looks with practiced cleverness. The recent Heater Control Valve of Chrysler slides into the cooling system and closes or opens in a few seconds of a dash order such that the heater core does not miss the desired temperature. This valve is cable, vacuum, and electronic and allows the owner to choose the control type it is comfortable with. The Heater Control Valve adjusts flow rather than merely switching on or off when sensors detect an increase in coolant heat and Chrysler drivers experience a comfortable transition between cold and warm. Regular coolant ensures that the Heater Control Valve does not get deposits thus preventing the locking down of the valve in winter on Chrysler cars. Quick-access ports allow the Heater Control Valve to scour trapped air and therefore the core will be heated in a short period of time and the initial song will be over before the fogged glass is completely wiped off.

Chrysler Heater Control Valve Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Heater Control Valve on Chrysler Crossfire?
    A:
Before servicing or repairing the coolant circulation valve, make sure the coolant temperature is not higher than 90°C before opening the cooling system and slow your movements to release pressure while you have protective gear on. Open the radiator cap next to the reservoir and it should catch the number "1." Then, open the top screw of the heat shield and lift the heat shield away. Close the hot water hoses first and afterwards, loosen the clamps holding the water hoses and remove the heater water hose. Depress the release button on the electrical connector for the coolant circulation valve and then pull out the rubber mounts at the body side. To install the valve, replace it securely and also install the mounts on the body side. Next, return the coolant circulation valve electrical connector, add the heater water hose and tighten the clamps on that hose. Untie the hot water hose, gently tighten the screw on top of the heat shield, then make sure your cooling system is topped up.
