How to Remove the Blower Motor on Chrysler 300?

You should start with disconnecting and isolating the negative battery cable to end air bag system activity, then you need to wait for two minutes to give time for the air bag system capacitor to discharge. Take out the instrument panel silencer from the passenger side as your first step. After that, release the locking tab on the wire harness connector and take out the wire harness connector from the blower motor. Then, remove the wire harness from each of the retainers. The last step is to loosen the screws securing the blower motor to the HVAC housing, remove it and put it aside.

How to Maintain a Blower Motor on Chrysler Crossfire?

Removing the lower instrument panel cover (2) from the instrument panel (1) is your first task for servicing the blower motor. Unplug the wires from the blower motor door and relieve valve, let go of the catch mounts and droop the door down. Take out the screws (1) that hold the blower motor to the housing, then take the motor and the squirrel cage out from the heat exchanger housing together. Before proceeding, set your blower motor and squirrel cage together, then fasten it to the heater housing with the screws (1). With the blower door still open, move the holders for the motor door catch to the detents, connect the motor wire and lower the instrument panel cover into place.
