Following this, take out the bolt holding the refrigerant line bracket to the left front shock tower and then take out the nut mounting the refrigerant line tapping block to the A/C expansion valve. Separate the wire harness from the A/C pressure transducer so you can reach the A/C expansion valve. Take the A/C suction line and the A/C liquid line off the A/C expansion valve, then put the lines out of the way. Take out the dual plane seal from the suction and liquid line fittings and install plugs in or use tape on, the opened fittings. Remove both bolts that hold the A/C expansion valve to the evaporator tube tapping block in the foam seal and remove the valve from those parts. Remove the dual plane seal from the evaporator tube fittings and put plugs in or cover the holes leftover in the evaporator tube fittings and the expansion valve ports with tape.
