- Q: How to Remove the A/C Accumulator on Chrysler 300?A:You should always decrease the risk of electric discharge by disconnecting and isolating the negative battery cable before removing the A/C accumulator. Following this, collect the refrigerant from your refrigerant system. Subsequently, take off the front fascia by taking off the front bumper cover. Then, unscrew the bracket that holds the accumulator to the condenser's right end. Up next, separate the accumulator from the A/C condenser by removing the bolt and tossing the dual-plane seal from the connection. After that, put plugs in or securely tape over the accumulator fitting and the condenser ports.

Take out the upper pressure line 1 and the refrigerant pressure sensor 2 following this step. The left inner fender (front section) can be detached by loosening and removing the connecting plastic nuts and screws from the liner. Bring the A/C accumulator back into its spot in the vehicle and tighten the mounting nuts 2. Connect the lower pressure line 1 and tighten it at 17 N.m (12 ft. lbs.), then set the front inner fender (left) and the wheel and tire back in place. Secure pressure sensor 2 along with the upper pressure line 2, making sure you tighten them to 17 N.m (12 ft. lbs.). After that, join the electrical connector 2 and supply the refrigerant to the system.
