How to Maintain an HVAC Pressure Switch on Chrysler Pacifica?

The first thing to do in servicing the refrigerant pressure sensor/switch is to disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. Afterward, remove the connector connecting the wire harness to the HVAC pressure switch found on the liquid line. Lift off the HVAC pressure switch from the fitting of the liquid line and throw away the O-ring seal. When installing, select the O-ring made of special R-134a material and only use the required oil for the A/C compressor. Add refrigerant oil to a new O-ring and fit it onto the liquid line fitting. Fix the HVAC pressure switch securely to the liquid line and attach the wire harness connector to it. Reattach the negative cable to the battery's terminal last.
