Begin by putting on the remote audio control buttons and speed control buttons on the steering wheel before installing it. Place the splines on the steering wheel hub inside the ones on the shaft of the steering wheel column and slide it down into place. Now, fit the damper on the steering wheel with its bolt, then tighten the bolt to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.). After that, fit the connector for speed control to the Clock Spring and next fit the two air bag squib connectors and the horn connector onto the driver air bag. Attach the driver air bag to the steering wheel and hold it in place with the screws which should be tightened to 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.). Next, USB a cable between the negative Terminal on Battery Snap-On and the battery post as directed by the Diagnosis And Testing guide, then examine the horn, gas pedal and remote controls.
