For cruise control switch work or repair, start by removing the negative
Battery Cable and putting the ignition in the off position. You control the speed using switches in the
Steering Wheel and these switches are connected under the
Air Bag module via the clock spring. For instructions on removing the air bag module, look in the section about seat belt systems. After that, remove the screw from the switch's rear, gently pull the switch away from the air bag and steering wheel and disconnect the electrical connector. Make the same switch for the other side of the switchboard as you did for the first. To install, affix the two-way electrical terminal, put in the switch and hold it place with the back screw. Do the same thing with the other switch and then put the negative cable back into place.
