How to Service and Repair a Bump Stop in the Rear Suspension on Dodge Dakota?

Before you service or repair the rear suspension bump stop, raise and support the vehicle. After that, remove the two bolts that attach the bump stop and remove the bump stop altogether.

How to install a Bump Stop on Dodge Ram 2500?

Place the bump stop (2) into position as your first step. Then, fit the two bolts (1) through the holes in the brackets and tighten each bolt to 61 Nm (45 ft. lbs.).
