Make sure the engine timing cover does not touch any grease or oil. Apply sealant on the cylinder head to close all gaps in the timer and also put a 2 mm bead of sealant where the
Oil Pan meets the engine. With the vehicle under the cover and the cover upwards, attach the timing chain cover with its upper retaining bolts by tightening all M6 bolts to 9 Nm and all M8 bolts to 26 Nm. Put the accessory drive
Belt Tensioner into place, tighten it with a wrench to 24 Nm and then fit the right engine mount with bolts tightened to 50 Nm. Following this, put in the accessory
Drive Belt upper idler pulley and tighten its bolt to 48 Nm. Next, put on the adapter for the engine mount and tighten the bolts to 68 Nm and last, put the through bolt of the engine mount and tighten it to 88 Nm. Take out the jack, lift the engine and securely support it and put in the lower retaining bolts of the oil pan to timing chain cover, using M6 screws tightened to 9 Nm. Mount the water pump pulley and fix three bolts to a torque of 9 Nm, afterwards add the crankshaft damper. Attach the lower idler pulley and secure it with a 48 Nm bolt and then mount the lower A/C compressor bracket bolts with 24 Nm tightness, along with the A/C compressor's bolts at 25 Nm. Attach the appropriate lower splash shield, put the car on the ground and replace the cylinder head cover and
Ignition Coils. Marry the
Power Steering Pump up with the pulley, push the bolts through and fasten them by hand until they reach 26 Nm. Tighten the hold down of the power steering hose to 12 Nm, put in the accessory drive belt and properly install the power steering pump reservoir with its mounting screw, plus the windshield
Washer Reservoir and coolant recovery reservoir. Then, install the clean air hose and the air cleaner housing, unplug the negative battery cable, operate the engine until it warms up, check the oil system, adjust the oil and finally install the engine cover.
