    Remove the HVAC unit casing from your vehicle and unfasten both Heater Core tubes from the heater core before installing a front evaporator. Discard the foam seal between the HVAC housing seal flange and the fresh air inlet on the car side, as well as around the expansion valve or evaporator tube side of the dash panel. Following this, remove the expansion valve from the evaporator inlet and outlet tube connectors, unhook the blower wire harness from the connector and pull the wire harness from the clips that secure it to the HVAC housing. Then, carefully take out the rubber grommet placing the evaporator inlet and outlet tubes into the rear HVAC housing near the rear A/C expansion valve. Head to the rear HVAC and take out the three screws and the three metal spring clips connecting the upper part of the housing to the lower part. After that, carefully take out and separate the upper housing casing. Unplug everything from the A/C evaporator before lifting it up out of the HVAC housing at the rear. Add 50 ml (1.7 fl oz) of the needed refrigerant oil when inserting a new rear A/C evaporator. First, bring the rear A/C evaporator down into the lower portion of the rear HVAC housing, then place the upper part over it and add the three spring clips and three screws, exercising 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.) of force on the screws. After you remove both, reinstall the rubber grommet, then fit the rear A/C expansion valve onto the rear A/C evaporator and join the rear evaporator extension line to it, before fitting the rear HVAC housing.
