How to Maintain an Ambient Temperature Sensor on Dodge Charger?

Before servicing the sensor, you should disconnect the negative battery cable and then hold up the vehicle with jack stands. Drop off the front shield covering and cut the connecting wire on the ambient air temperature sensor. Then, remove the push pin holding the sensor on the front bumper beam and remove the sensor itself. Tape the temperature sensor to the underside of the front bumper beam and attach it using the push pin. Attach the wire harness connector to the ambient air temperature sensor, put the front end splash shields back into place, raise the vehicle and finally attach the negative battery cable.
