First, disconnect and separate the battery's negative wire before you try to remove the front door speaker. After that, take off the front door trim panel and the mounting fasteners and then remove the electrical harness to remove the speaker. Just like before, start by unhooking the negative
Battery Cable, taking out the cover for the instrument panel speaker, removing its mounting bolts and undoing the electrical harness connection before you remove the speaker. The center-mounted instrument panel speaker is handled in the same way. First, remove the negative battery cable, then take out the upper and lower C-pillar trim panels, the rear shelf trim and the mounting fasteners from the rear speaker in your sedan. In a wagon, start with the negative cable from the battery, followed by taking the small speaker cover off, removing all fasteners and unplugging the electrical connector to remove the speaker. To move the subwoofer, unplug the battery negative cable, take off the bottom and top parts of the C-pillar, the rear shelf trim and fasteners before disconnecting the electrical harness connector. For the subwoofer in a four-door, open the decklid, unplug the negative battery cable, remove the top fastener, disconnect the wire and take out the subwoofer. With the subwoofer installed in the wagon, first remove the battery's negative cable, lower the seat back at the back, unplug the electrical connector, undo the screws that hold it in place and take out the subwoofer.
