Before touching the left engine mount, take out the negative
Battery Cable from under the trunk and remove the air cleaner's housing. Lift the vehicle, remove the lower splash shield using the retaining bolts, then unbolt and unthread the nut and stud from the left mount isolator. Lay a wooden block under the
Oil Pan and use a jackstand to jack up the engine. After that, take out the nuts and bolts holding the engine mount isolator to the engine mount adapter, then remove the isolator. For installation, put the engine mount isolator in position and bolt it to the engine mount adapter, using a torque of 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.). Make sure the engine drops down, but it does not touch the frame, then put in the mount studs and tighten them at 12 Nm (106 inch lbs.). With the engine all the way to the bottom, take off the lift device and tighten the engine mount isolator nuts to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.). Put back the lower splash shield and fasten the retaining bolts, bring the vehicle down, assemble the air cleaner housing and then attach the negative battery cable.
