To remove the spark plug, which is located under each ignition coil, first remove the necessary air filter tubing and air intake components at the top of the engine and at the throttle body. Before taking out the ignition coil, spray compressed air around the coil base at the cylinder head. Then, spray compressed air into the cylinder head opening to prevent foreign material from entering the combustion chamber. Use a quality socket with a rubber or foam insert to remove the spark plug from the cylinder head, and check the condition of the ignition coil O-ring, replacing it as necessary. Finally, inspect the condition of the spark plug.
