  Before installing an A/C condenser, inspect the oil level in the refrigerant to finish all A/C system work. If you're changing more than one component, use the Refrigerant Oil Capacities chart to find the oil amount; if only the condenser is being replaced, add 10 milliliters (0.3 fluid ounce) of the recommended refrigerant oil. Never forget to put in new O-ring seals and gaskets when disconnecting your refrigerant lines. Put the condenser of the A/C in the front of the engine compartment and connect it to the mounts on the bottom. Make sure the two plastic retaining tabs are securely connected to the condenser's top mounting brackets on the radiator. For the automatic transmission cooler, link it to the left-hand side of the condenser and, if the engine is 2.0L diesel, fit the charge air cooler on to the vehicle. Now, you should add the front bumper reinforcement and the front fascia. Use the bolt to secure the condenser tapping block on the radiator support's right side. Get rid of all the old tape and plugs from the refrigerant and condenser ports, grease new rubber O-ring seals with proper refrigerant oil and fit both the O-rings and the gaskets onto the refrigerant line fittings with the correct O-rings for R-134a. Link the A/C liquid line and the A/C discharge line to the tapping block and tighten the retaining nuts until they reach 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). Don't start the engine with the vacuum pump or any part of the A/C system attached when replacing this compressor. Empty the refrigerant system and if you are changing the condenser, add 10 milliliters (0.3 fluid ounce) of refrigerant oil or use the chart for the suggested oil variances if changing several A/C parts.

  Before removing the A/C condenser, disconnect and detach the negative Battery Cable and remove the refrigerant. Remember to mark each radiator/condenser air seal, as they have to go back in their proper spots for your A/C and engine to run chill. Get rid of the five nuts that hold the A/C discharge line and A/C liquid line to the tapping block on the right of the condenser. After that, unhook those lines and throw the O-ring seals and gaskets away. After that, take out the bolt connecting the tapping block to the radiator support and plug or tape over both the opened refrigerant line fittings and the condenser ports. Take away the front fascia and front bumper reinforcement. If there's an automatic transmission cooler, unhook it from the left side of the air conditioning (A/C) condenser. Take off the charge air cooler on any vehicle with the 2.0L diesel engine. Take out the two plastic retaining tabs underneath the top A/C condenser mounts on the radiator, lift the condenser and then remove it from the engine compartment.
