You should siphon most of the power steering fluid from the reservoir before servicing or repairing the 3.5L engine's power steering line. After that, pull out the engine appearance cover and lift and hold up the vehicle. After removing the pressure hose (4), loosen the tube nut (3) and drop the car down. Twist off the tube nut (3) a second time and take out the pressure hose (1) from the pump (4). Get rid of the pressure hose routing clamp bolt (2) fixed to the engine cylinder head and access the region behind the powertrain control module (3) to unscrew and pull free the routing clamp screw (2) at the left side of the front suspension crossmember. After that, detach the power steering pressure hose from the vehicle.
