If the car's battery was disconnected, do a battery reconnect first. Next, attach the electrical connector, set the speaker in place and finally install and tighten the fasteners. After that, put in the front door trim panel and hook up the battery's negative cable. For the panel speaker, repeat the battery reconnect steps, place the speaker, attach its electrical connection, connect the fasteners and attach the speaker cover to the panel. Procedures for the instrument panel center speaker are the same. For the rear speaker in a sedan, do the battery reconnect procedure, then attach the electrical harness, arrange the speaker in its place, add and tighten the mounting screws and fit on the rear shelf trim, lower C-pillar trim and upper C-pillar trim, finishing with the battery negative cable. In a wagon, begin as before, install the trim for the speaker grille and then attach the battery negative cable. After reconnecting the battery for the subwoofer on the rear shelf, then install the electrical harness connector, place the subwoofer, install and tighten the mounting fasteners and put on the rear shelf trim and both C-pillar trims before finalizing the connection of the battery negative cable.
