The center-mounted instrument panel speaker is handled in the same way. First, remove the negative battery cable, then take out the upper and lower C-pillar trim panels, the rear shelf trim and the mounting fasteners from the rear speaker in your sedan. In a wagon, start with the negative cable from the battery, followed by taking the small speaker cover off, removing all fasteners and unplugging the electrical connector to remove the speaker. To move the subwoofer, unplug the battery negative cable, take off the bottom and top parts of the C-pillar, the rear shelf trim and fasteners before disconnecting the electrical harness connector. For the subwoofer in a four-door, open the decklid, unplug the negative battery cable, remove the top fastener, disconnect the wire and take out the subwoofer. With the subwoofer installed in the wagon, first remove the battery's negative cable, lower the seat back at the back, unplug the electrical connector, undo the screws that hold it in place and take out the subwoofer.

For the panel speaker, repeat the battery reconnect steps, place the speaker, attach its electrical connection, connect the fasteners and attach the speaker cover to the panel. Procedures for the instrument panel center speaker are the same. For the rear speaker in a sedan, do the battery reconnect procedure, then attach the electrical harness, arrange the speaker in its place, add and tighten the mounting screws and fit on the rear shelf trim, lower C-pillar trim and upper C-pillar trim, finishing with the battery negative cable. In a wagon, begin as before, install the trim for the speaker grille and then attach the battery negative cable. After reconnecting the battery for the subwoofer on the rear shelf, then install the electrical harness connector, place the subwoofer, install and tighten the mounting fasteners and put on the rear shelf trim and both C-pillar trims before finalizing the connection of the battery negative cable. Attach the sedan subwoofer to the car, hook up the wiring connector, fasten the top mounting pieces, run the negative battery cable to the subwoofer and cap the decklid once done. In the wagon, put in the subwoofer, secure it with the fastener, connect the wiring to power, lift the rear seat back and attach the metal cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
