How to Remove and Install an Antenna Mast on Dodge Neon?

To pull off the antenna mast, unscrew it from the antenna and remove the cable at the antenna cable port in the instrument panel's wire harness from above the panel trim. Once that's done, remove the push pins from the back of the inner fender shield and pull it back to locate the screws. Loosen the screws on the mount to remove the antenna base and cable group from their position under the fender. To put on the antenna, place the adapter tongue into the long fender hole and push it into place. On the bottom side, push the adapter around the antenna base and the cable connector into the fender, then tighten the mounting screws to 7 Newtons meters (75 inches per pound). Put the grommet behind the side panel and join the cable to the connector on the instrument panel harness. Insert the plastic inner fender shield, connect the antenna cable with the instrument panel's cable and put in the cowl side trim panel on the right.
