  Review the valves and seats by using the information listed on the specification sheet. After you have used a machine to reface valves, measure the remaining margin on them. Replace any intake valves with less than 0.95 mm and any exhaust valves with less than 1.05 mm. If you keep the appropriate angle and width for the worn or burned valve seat, they can be reworked. However, the intake valve should be serviced when its width reaches 2.0 mm or greater and the exhaust valve when it's 2.5 mm or higher; otherwise, you have to replace the cylinder head.
